I have been pretty slack with getting work onto deviant art, prob because i am trying to get all of my work organised for this semester. The start of each semester is always very demanding as I procrasticate, try to remember every kids name and try and plan all of there work for the 4 different classes that I teach. So finding time to even do the most mundane of tasks such as washing my clothes is a challenge.
I hopw to have completed a new series in a few weeks if i dedicate some time to it so hopefully there will be some new work put up then.
The topic was light and i guess that encompasses all that is dark. One cannot exist without the other and within photography you don't get anything unless you have light. I am teaching my 3D Art kids about light sculptures. Not as in a lamp light but more about the way sculptures interact and coexist with light. Our study was the episode of Northern Exposure where Chris creates a huge metal sculpture made specifically for the Aurora Borealis and is thus titled.
What is a light sculpture? Does the intention for the work to interact with the light have to be there for the sculpture to be a light sculpture? Is it an environmental sculpture?
I guess ultimately the inside of a camera is the ideal notion of a light sculpture. The physical images, which are ultimately 3D, cannot come into fruition without this interaction of camera with light.

Feelings, that's all poetry is- Emotions on paper. Your heart poured out in little words that only mean something to you-Feelings no one will ever understand.
